railroad industry. In 1964 she became
the first female partner at any Wall Street bond house. Benham died in New York
City on May 18, 2013 at 101 years of age.

Billie Sol Estes was a Texas king of con men. In 1962, when he was accused of looting a federal crop
subsidy program. Estes was best known for the scandal that broke during Kennedy administration involving phony financial statements
and nonexistent fertilizer tanks, for which he served several years in prison.
