“We stand today on the edge of a new frontier-the frontier of the 1960s, a frontier of unknown opportunities and perils-a frontier of unfulfilled hopes and threats.” ~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy
The Sound of Silence
“The Sound of Silence” was written by
Paul Simon in his bathroom, where he turned off the lights to better concentrate.
Then he’d play, in the dark, ‘Hello darkness, my old friend / I’ve come to talk
with you again’.
